TUTORIAL | BLACK SMOKEY CAT EYE

Today I have another tutorial for you! This time I show how I created this smokey black cat eye on my sister and which products and brushes I used. This really makes her green eyes pop, I love it! Want to see how I did it step by step? Make sure to keep reading!
I started by filling in my sister's eyebrows with the anastasia beverly hills brow powder in medium brown (Click here for a tutorial) and priming her eyes with the Urban Decay primer potion. After that I also applied some tape to make the edge sharper.

The first colour I used is a medium warm brown (Makeup Geek Frappe). I applied this with a big round fluffy brush (Zoeva 228)
After that I used a darker warm brown (Makeup Geek cocoa bear) on the outer part of the crease with a smaller fluffy brush (MAC 217).
After that I went in with a black eyeshadow (Urban decay blackout) and applied this with a flat brush (Zoeva 234) using padding motions. This helps a little with preventing fall out.
Now it was time to blend out the black eyeshadow. This is a whole process of carefully blending with a small fluffy brush (mac 217) and sometimes adding some colour. Take your time with this, because blending really is key.
After that I applied some Makeup Geek cocoa bear on the lower lash line and on the outer third a bit of the black eyeshadow. Also I applied some eyeliner (elf liquid liner), mascara and lashes (Red Cherry 43).

And that was the look!

What do you think? I hope you liked it!

Love,
Françoise
