Tomorrow is New Year's eve, so I thought it would be nice to create a look for it. My sister volunteerd as my next victim. Because she has amazing green eyes I decided to make this green cat eye look. This look can be worn to any party, or even daily if you would like and it will look great on so many people. Let's start!
green eye makeup, makeup for green eyes, cat eye tutorial, how to apply eyeshadow
First I started off by doing my sister's brows (click here for a easy & natural brow tutorial) and priming her eye with the Urban Decay primer potion. After taking this picture I also decided to use some tape, which makes everything a lot easier! Almost fool proof!

Here I applied Makeup Geek "frappe" eyeshadow in the upper crease with a large fluffly brush (Zoeva 228) to warm up the look a bit.

After that I went in with Morphe 62 Toasted Hazelnut using the MAC 217 . I mainly focused this in the crease on the outside of the eye. This created some depth.

To make the green eyeshadow stand out more I used NYX Jumbo pencil in milk. It's fine if it is a little bit messy. I wanted the green to pop, especially in the middle. That's why I first blended it all out and then applied a bit more in the middle.

Then I applied a Morphe eyeshadow called 19 dirty martini with a flat fluffy brush. I tried to keep this on the lid as much as possible.

On the outer corner i applied blackout by Urban Decay with a tapered crease brush (Zoeva 231). This created some more depth and gives the look more of a 3D effect.

Here I applied a Elf liquid eyeliner which is amazing and only costs $3! I didn't want the line to be too thick, but you can always make it thicker if you would like. The tape makes applying eyeliner a lot easier. After that i also did the lower lash line. I first applied makeup geek frappe, after that I applied urban decay blackout mainly on the outer half and on the inner half I applied morphe 19 dirty martini.

I let my sister apply her own mascara and after that I put some lashes on her (Red Cherry 43) to make the look complete.

And this is the final look! I hope you like it!

Happy new year
