Today I've a bit of a different article, namely a collection review. In my makeup of the day articles I mention the products I used, but I don't really give in-dept information about them. That's why I thought it would be helpful to write a collection review, so I could give a short review about the products that I already own for a while. I didn't want to give them all a separate review because they are used and don't look brand new anymore. That's why the pictures don't look great as well. Let's start with the reviews!

Mac studio fix fluid
MAC studio fix fluid
MAC studio fix fluid used to be one of my favorite foundations, but i don't use it often anymore. It tends to break me out, so I only  use it for special occasions, when i'm going to take a lot of pictures for my blog (because it looks amazing in pictures) or when i want to go all out with my makeup. It has a medium-to-full coverage, has a completely matte finish and stays on all day. Because of the finish I don't recommend it to people with really dry skin, because it does cling to dry patches and can look quite unnatural.

MAC studio sculpt

This foundation is the least favorite in my collection.  It has a medium-to-full coverage and has a satin finish.I found that it clings to dry patches really easily, accentuates fine lines and it just doesn't look good on my skin. I heard that it is great when mixed with MAC face and body, but i've never tried that.

Bourjois Healthy mix
Bourjois healthy mix foundation
Bourjois healthy mix  is definitely my favorite drugstore foundation. Personally, I would describe the finish as satin. It's not dewy but it's also not matte: it is something in between. It leaves the skin with a healthy glow. The foundation doesn't cling to dry patches, which makes it perfect for dry skin, and has a medium coverage.

Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect
Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect foundation
This foundation has a light coverage, has a dewy finish and looks really natural on the skin. I don't recommend it to people with oily skin, because it would make you look more oily, but for people with dry skin who don't really need a lot of coverage this is perfect. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't survive a long day.

Revlon colorstay
Revlon colorstay (dry to normal version)
Revlon colorstay is similar to the MAC studio fix foundation. They both have a medium-to-full coverage, are matte, stay on all day and look great in pictures. Revlon colorstay is not entirely matte, but looks more natural on the skin and is more dry-skin-friendly. It is a great alternative if MAC studio fix fluid doesn't work out for you.
